Librarians
Our Library Ambassadors were chosen in the autumn term.
They put themselves forward with reasons why they felt they would be best suited to the role. Those chosen are fantastic Ambassadors who love 'Reading for Pleasure' and enjoy spending time in the library.
Their role is quite diverse and developing a student ownership of the library is important, gathering information on what pupils want in their library and then putting that into action is a key part.
They attend meetings each term where they discuss ideas, Most recently the reorganisation of the library and class reading areas.
Other elements of their role include:
Tidying, sorting and ordering library
Display ideas and design
Ordering new books
Helping peers in the library
Modelling good use of the library.
