Mr Taylor

Hi everyone, I am Mr Taylor. I have worked at George Street since qualifying as a teacher in 2014 and have had various roles during this time; I have taught in both Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, but mainly KS2.

Literacy is an area of the curriculum that I am incredibly passionate about teaching as I believe good literacy skills are the key to unlocking all other areas of learning. I love to read and enjoy being creative and experimenting with words when writing. I really hope to instil the same passion for the English language in the children that I teach this year. I currently sit on our school leadership team as Leader of Literacy, Language and Communication.

George Street is a wonderful school to work in because of its fantastic pupils and staff who work together tirelessly to make sure that we all reach our full potential and have fun doing it.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and can usually be found in a restaurant eating my favourite pizza and pasta dishes. I often go to the theatre to watch a play or a musical and love a trip to London for the weekend.
