Prior to becoming a Home School Liaison Officer at George Street school I worked for Barnardo's Cymru for 14 years. My role involves working with families and providing support with attendance issues, financial matters, housing and behaviour.  I work closely with Families First and Communities First which allows me to sign post families to specialised agencies who can provide further advice and guidance.

I work at George Street School on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Coffee mornings take place every Wednesday morning at 9am-10am. Parents, guardians and grandparents are welcome to come along and meet other parents for a chat and a coffee. Parents can also drop in and see me if they would like support or have a chat about anything which is affecting their child/children at school.
