Mrs S Donoghue

Hello! As the longest serving member of George Street School (I started in 1985!) I have fulfilled many roles. As the school caretaker I am responsible for keeping all members of staff and children safe with regards to health and safety, security and general running of the school. I am often found in the most peculiar places, sometimes up a ladder, hidden between numerous deliveries or renovating the toilets!

In addition to this role I am responsible for stock audits, ordering of resources and organsing the key areas of the school such as the art and role play areas.

After school hours I lead a team of 3 cleaning staff, who ensure the cleanliness of the school is at the highest standard. They always deliver above and beyond. We are extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated cleaning team at George Street School, they are often asked to support the school with trips due to the wonderful rapport they have with both staff and children. 

I am very proud to be part of such a caring and committed school!
