Shwmae pawb! Mrs Davies ydw i. Since starting work at George Street in 2007, I have worked in all year groups.

This year I am on Secondment; a difficult decision, but an opportunity I could not refuse! I will be taking a step back from teaching in the classroom, as I embark on a new adventure at Cardiff University. I have been successful in obtaining a place on the ‘Cymraeg mewn Blwyddyn’ course (Welsh in a year). Welsh has always been a passion of mine and I am thrilled to have been afforded this opportunity. The course aims to increase the number of practitioners who can teach through the medium of Welsh and bilingualism. The course is led by fluent Welsh speakers who are able to offer their expertise in numerous areas; from developing the language itself, to introducing new pedagogical practices, both of which I hope to embed across the school on my return to George Street.
