Mrs Smith

My name is Mrs Smith and my role within the school is a Learning Support Assistant in Year 5.  I support Miss Main and Mr Bowen's classes. Over the years that I have working at George Street, I have carried out one to one support in classes and worked across the school from Nursery to Year 6. I have worked in George Street for seven years and enjoy all aspects of the school environment, however I particularly enjoy helping out with after school cookery club and coastal school with Mrs Jones.

I am fully committed to the developing the learning, well-being and safety of the children, and enjoy spending time getting to know them on an individual basis, whilst encouraging them and watching them grow. I am passionate about the children enjoying their time at school and I feel I am approachable and nurturing.

I have two young children who keep me very busy outside of work but when I find a spare minute in the day I enjoy reading and walking.
