Miss Woods 

Hi, I’m Miss Woods. I joined the George Street team in 2017 and am thoroughly enjoying working with the fantastic Foundation Phase team we have here.   

I love the diverse role and the range of challenges my job presents, every day is never the same! My favourite part of my job is when ‘the penny drops’ and learners say,  ”Ah! I get it now Miss!”. I particularly enjoy teaching Welsh and literacy and am passionate to ensure all children are appropriately challenge to achieve their very best. I have the responsibility as More Able And Talented coordinator, a role I enjoy very much. I enjoy looking for ways in which we can ensure we challenge our more able pupils and work closely with NACE to help us achieve this.

My spare time is mostly filled with looking after my little boy and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy going out for a run and spending time outside in the sunshine and fresh air.
