Mr Edwards

Hi everyone! My name is Mr Edwards. Previous to my teaching experience here at George Street, I have worked as a teaching assistant for 10 years. During this time, I have had the experience of working in a variety of year groups in Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2. Teaching ICT and PE on a regular basis.

I began studying my PGCE in 2019, during this time I started at George Street teaching Year 6. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at our fantastic school; especially getting to know the wonderful pupils, staff and community. I am so lucky to be part of the amazing team at George Street. I always come to school with a smile on my face and I look forward to continuing my journey at a fantastic school.

One of my passions is sport and I love being involved with sports clubs. Another passion of mine is ICT, I believe developing digital skills is an essential part of the curriculum as this will prepare our pupils for an ever changing technological future.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family; taking my dog for long walks and watching my local rugby team and playing lots golf.  I also enjoy keeping active, I regularly attend my local gym and go road running to keep fit.
