Community Governor/Vice Chairman

My name is Eddy Hopkins, I am a Community Governor and currently hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors at George St School.                      

I have lived in Wainfelin for 45 years and have brought up my family in the area. My three daughters previously attended the school and I currently have two granddaughters in year 1 and year 5.                                        

George St School continues to be at the heart of the community, and over the past 4 years in my role as a Governor I have enjoyed getting to know the excellent staff at the school and admire their dedication and professionalism in the challenging environment of Education.                                    

I will continue to do my utmost to support the school and help develop our children’s education in a happy and thriving environment.
